Effective Date: 15 September 2026
Last Updated: 27 September 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Orbit mobile application, website, extensions, widgets, and related services (“Orbit” or the “Service”).
Orbit is developed and operated by Paras Akbari, an individual developer based in Gujarat, India.
By creating an Orbit account, accessing Orbit, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Orbit.

Available features may change over time, and some features may be limited to particular plans, devices, operating-system versions, or regions.
2. Eligibility and Younger Users
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms or must use Orbit with the authorization and involvement of a parent or legal guardian where applicable law requires it.
If you are under the legal age at which you may independently consent to the processing of your personal information or enter into these Terms, your parent or legal guardian must provide any authorization or consent required by applicable law.
For users in India, special requirements under applicable data-protection law may apply to the processing of personal data belonging to children.
Parents and legal guardians who authorize a younger user's use of Orbit are responsible for supervising that use and, to the extent permitted by law, accepting these Terms on that user's behalf.
Orbit must not be used by a child where legally required parental or guardian authorization has not been obtained.
3. Your Account
Some Orbit features require an account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Activities performed through your account
- Keeping your email address accurate and accessible
- Using reasonable security measures on your device
- Informing us if you believe your account has been compromised
You must not access another person's account without authorization.
We may take reasonable action to protect an account or the Service if we suspect unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, or a security risk.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the notes, tasks, pages, images, files, habits, saved links, and other content that you create, upload, or intentionally send to Orbit (“User Content”).
You grant Orbit a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, transmit, synchronize, process, cache, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and provide the Service.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Orbit.
Orbit does not claim ownership of your private notes, tasks, pages, images, files, habits, or other User Content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload, store, or share User Content through Orbit.
5. Private Content
Orbit is designed primarily for private personal organization.
Orbit does not currently provide a public content feed or collaborative workspace in which other Orbit users can browse your private account content.
Using Share to Orbit to save something from another app does not make that content public.
You should avoid storing or sharing information through Orbit where doing so would violate applicable law or another person's rights.
6. Share to Orbit, Saved Links, and Link Previews
Orbit may provide a Share Extension or similar feature that lets you intentionally send supported content from another application into Orbit.
The content made available to Orbit may depend on what you select, what the source application supplies through the iOS share sheet, and what content types Orbit supports.
You are responsible for the content you choose to save to Orbit and for ensuring that your use of that content is lawful.
Orbit may display link titles, icons, images, or other preview metadata obtained through Apple system frameworks or from the linked website. Such third-party material remains subject to the rights of its respective owner.
Orbit does not control, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for third-party websites merely because a link or preview appears in Orbit.
Third-party links may change, become unavailable, contain inaccurate information, or lead to content that Orbit does not control. You should use appropriate caution when opening external links.
7. Apple Calendar, Siri, Widgets, and System Integrations
Orbit may offer optional integration with Apple Calendar, Siri, App Intents, widgets, notifications, the iOS share sheet, and other Apple system features.
Calendar functionality requires permission through iOS. You may refuse or revoke this permission.
Google calendars that you independently connect to Apple Calendar may become visible through Apple's calendar system. Orbit does not currently provide a direct Google Calendar account integration.
Siri, App Intents, widgets, share extensions, notifications, and similar features may depend on Apple services, device state, permissions, or operating-system behavior.
Orbit is not responsible for errors, omissions, delays, duplicate information, or changes caused by Apple system services, external calendar providers, device synchronization, or third-party accounts connected to your device.
8. Notifications and Reminders
Orbit may allow you to configure notifications and reminders.
Notifications are provided as a convenience only.
Delivery may depend on your device, iOS settings, background-processing restrictions, notification permissions, network conditions, or services controlled by Apple.
You should not rely on Orbit reminders for emergencies, medical treatment, personal safety, financial deadlines, legal deadlines, or other situations where failure or delay could cause serious harm or loss.
When you successfully sign out of an Orbit account, Orbit is designed to stop account-specific reminders from continuing to notify that device.
9. Free and Paid Features
Orbit may provide both free and subscription-based features.
The features, limits, storage allowances, and capabilities included in each plan may change over time. Any material change affecting an active paid subscription will be handled subject to applicable law and App Store requirements.
Your personal Orbit data may remain associated with your account after a paid subscription expires unless you choose to delete your account.
Expiration or cancellation of a subscription does not automatically delete your Orbit account.
Orbit may also provide legacy, beta, promotional, complimentary, or grandfathered entitlements to eligible accounts. Such entitlements are separate from a user's App Store subscription unless expressly stated otherwise.
10. Subscriptions
Orbit may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Subscription names, billing periods, prices, available features, applicable taxes, and any introductory-offer terms are displayed before you confirm a purchase.
Payments are processed by Apple using the payment method associated with your Apple Account.
Unless cancelled or otherwise stated by Apple at the time of purchase, an auto-renewable subscription renews according to the subscription period shown during purchase.
You can manage or cancel your subscription using the subscription-management options provided by Apple.
Deleting the Orbit application or deleting an Orbit account does not necessarily cancel an active Apple subscription. Subscription cancellation must be managed separately through Apple where required.
Apple's applicable billing, cancellation, refund, and App Store terms also apply to purchases made through the App Store.
Orbit does not independently store your complete payment-card or banking details.
11. Free Trials and Introductory Offers
Eligible users may be offered a free trial or another introductory subscription offer.
The exact duration, eligibility requirements, renewal price, and other material terms of an offer are displayed through the applicable App Store purchase flow before purchase.
Unless cancelled before the trial or introductory period ends, an eligible subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price shown when the offer is accepted, subject to Apple's applicable purchase terms.
Eligibility for free trials and introductory offers may be determined through Apple's systems.
12. Refunds
Purchases made through Apple's In-App Purchase system are processed by Apple.
Requests for refunds for App Store purchases are generally subject to Apple's applicable policies, procedures, and legal obligations.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
13. Synchronization, Offline Data, and Local Storage
Orbit may maintain local copies, cached data, synchronization state, and account-scoped databases on your device to provide offline use, fast loading, widgets, reminders, and reliable synchronization.
Cloud synchronization is intended to keep supported Orbit information available across compatible sessions or devices, but synchronization may be delayed or interrupted by network conditions, service outages, device state, or other technical factors.
Orbit may prevent sign-out when it detects unsynchronized local changes that cannot be safely synchronized, in order to reduce the risk of data loss.
After a successful sign-out, Orbit may remove account-scoped cached content, widget state, synchronized local databases, and reminders from that device. This does not by itself delete your Orbit cloud account.
14. Recently Deleted Content and Account Deletion
Orbit may temporarily retain eligible deleted items in a Recently Deleted area to allow restoration.
Items may be permanently removed when you manually delete them permanently, when an applicable restoration period expires, or when your account is deleted.
You can request deletion of your Orbit account from within the application.
When a successful authenticated account-deletion request is processed, associated account information and eligible Orbit content are intended to be permanently deleted from Orbit's active systems as described in the Privacy Policy.
Account deletion is permanent and may make content unrecoverable.
Deleting the Orbit app from your device is not the same as deleting your Orbit account.
15. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Orbit.
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or Orbit systems
- Probe, scan, attack, overwhelm, or interfere with Orbit's servers, APIs, databases, authentication systems, or infrastructure
- Use automated systems, bots, scripts, or other mechanisms to create abusive traffic or excessive accounts
- Circumvent technical restrictions, rate limits, authentication, subscription controls, storage limits, or security systems
- Upload malware or malicious code
- Use Orbit to violate applicable law
- Infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights of another person
- Attempt to reverse engineer portions of Orbit except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Use Orbit in a way that materially interferes with the Service, its providers, or other users
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect Orbit, its infrastructure, users, service providers, or legal rights from abuse or security threats.
16. Orbit Intellectual Property and License
Orbit's software, interface, branding, illustrations, visual design, icons, documentation, and other materials supplied by Orbit are owned by or licensed to the developer, except for User Content and third-party materials.
Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store usage rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Orbit on supported devices that you own or control.
No ownership of Orbit's intellectual property is transferred to you.
Nothing in these Terms gives you ownership of third-party material that may appear in a saved-link preview or other external content.
17. Third-Party Services
Orbit relies on third-party services and platforms to provide certain functionality, including services supplied by Supabase, PowerSync, Vercel, Resend, and Apple.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Orbit with those services.
We do not control the continued availability, operation, security, or policies of third-party services and cannot guarantee that they will always remain available or unchanged.
18. Availability and Changes
We may modify, add, remove, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of Orbit.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Orbit may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software problems, network issues, infrastructure failures, third-party outages, App Store issues, operating-system changes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
19. Backups and Loss of Content
Cloud synchronization is intended to improve access to your Orbit information but should not be considered a guaranteed archival or backup service.
Although reasonable measures are taken to protect stored information, no software, device, synchronization system, or cloud service can guarantee that data will never be lost, delayed, or corrupted.
Where information is particularly important, you should maintain appropriate independent copies when reasonably possible.
20. No Professional Advice
Orbit is a productivity and organization tool.
Information, templates, charts, reminders, habit tools, notes, saved links, or other functionality supplied through Orbit do not constitute medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.
You remain responsible for decisions you make using information stored, linked, or organized through Orbit.
21. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orbit is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
We do not guarantee that Orbit will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for every particular purpose.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, legality, availability, or continued accessibility of third-party websites, saved links, or preview metadata.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of or inability to use Orbit.
This may include loss resulting from device failure, network interruption, third-party service failure, missed reminders, synchronization problems, unavailable links, or loss of content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
23. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Orbit at any time.
You may also delete your account using the account-deletion functionality provided within Orbit.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- Serious or repeated violations of these Terms
- Fraudulent or abusive activity
- Attempts to compromise Orbit's security or infrastructure
- Legal requirements
- Conduct that threatens the Service, service providers, or other users
Where reasonably practicable and legally appropriate, we may provide notice before taking such action.
24. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Orbit Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy forms an important part of your relationship with Orbit and should be reviewed before using the Service.
25. Apple App Store Terms
If you download Orbit through Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the Orbit developer and not between you and Apple, except to the extent Apple's own terms separately apply.
Your use of Orbit must comply with applicable Apple Media Services, App Store, and device usage rules.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Orbit except to the extent required by applicable law or Apple's own terms.
Purchases made through Apple are subject to Apple's applicable purchase, billing, cancellation, and refund rules.
To the extent Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your download or use of Orbit, that agreement applies to the application license in addition to these Service Terms.
If Orbit later supplies a custom end-user license agreement through App Store Connect, that agreement will apply as provided through Apple's distribution process.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to reduce rights or protections that Apple or applicable law requires to be preserved for App Store users.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Orbit, subscriptions, features, technical requirements, legal obligations, or business practices.
If a change is material, we may provide reasonable notice through Orbit, the website, App Store listing, email where appropriate, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of Orbit after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
If applicable law requires additional consent, we will seek it.
27. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights, privacy rights, or other laws that apply based on your location.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or Orbit will be subject to the competent courts of Gujarat, India.
28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
